Happy New Year!

In December there was an international camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs that was good training and always lot of fun having more athletes around. Some of the countries that came to train with us were Latvia, Egypt, Russia, and Ukraine.

We also had our first qualifier for the first 2012 World Cup in Charlotte, North Carolina in March. At the qualifier I swam a new best time and had an almost clear ride with only one second time fault which put me in 4^th place.

With the World Cup quickly approaching in March, training is ramping up and has been hard. I was able to go home for Christmas and New Years to spend some time with the family. It was nice to go run the trails at home, catch up with old coaches and friends, and spend some time with our quickly growing puppy Colt. Happy New Year and hopes for a good year to come in 2012!
